洗濯物を畳んで仕舞ったり、毎日お風呂掃除して沸かして入って髪を乾かすとか本当に面倒くさいことが日々たくさんある私ですが、みなさんも『面倒くさい!』と思うことが色々あるのではないでしょうか。ここでの『hassle』とは「手間」を意味し、手間がかかって面倒くさい物事に使えます。そのほかにもたくさん英語表現があるのでさっそく見ていきましょう。
A: I need to renew my drivers license. It will expire soon.
自動車免許の更新しないと。もうすぐ期限切れだ。
B: Going to the DMV is such a hassle. I did mine last week and it was such a pain in the neck! Waiting in a long line to just get in to the building, and the service there is so slow.
DMV行って手続きするのマジ面倒くさいよね。先週自分もしたけど大変だったよ。建物に入るだけですごい長い列に並ばなきゃいけないし、入ったら入ったでサービスが遅いし!
